New allotments for South Wonston
South Wonston Councillor Stephen Godfrey and Prospective MP Steve Brine are backing residents in South Wonston aiming to open a brand new allotment site on land adjoining Worthy Down.
Avril Burt, who lives in Downs Road, has formed the South Wonston Allotment Steering Group and is working with the Parish Council to negotiate a possible future purchase of land (off Lower Road) from the MoD.
