Steve Brine held a double surgery on Saturday, as he spent the morning and lunchtime in both Twyford and Colden Common.
The Winchester MP was joined by local parish councillor (for Twyford) Jade Cornwall outside Twyford Stores, and newly-elected County Councillor Rob Humby in Twyford as well as later on outside Colden Common Community Centre.
They discussed a number of issues with residents and shoppers, from local issues such as development to national issues such as school places, youth centre, and even current lobbying Bill.
In addition, Penny Smith from Twyford SpeedWatch dropped by to catch-up and discuss the traffic with Steve.
Steve said: "These street surgeries get better and better and are one of the best things I do to engage with constituents. The demand this Saturday was huge, especially in Colden Common where there is great anxiety about the future due to proposed new housing development in the village and so many parents wanted to discuss the issue of primary school places with me. We are already working on future dates and will post them on this website and in the parish magazine as soon as possible."
