Steve Brine MP

for Winchester & Chandler's Ford

The settlement of Winchester began in about 150BC when a large defended enclosure was created on the western slopes of the modern city, in the area of Oram's Arbour. Since that time, great kings and bishops have left lasting reminders of their presence.

During Saxon times, Winchester was the capital of England - chosen by King Alfred (Alfred the Great) - and the city remained a Royal residence for centuries afterwards.

Today Winchester is the city at the heart of the constituency represented in Parliament by Steve Brine and is a thriving, bustling, modern city full of charm and some of the best shopping you will find.

Steve is very active in Winchester of course and much of his work as the local MP comes through the city centre.  These pages focus on his work in Fulflood, Hyde, Abbotts Barton, St Cross, Winnall, Highcliffe & the immediate city centre itself.
