Steve Brine

for Winchester & Chandler's Ford

Steve's Summer Tour returned in July/August 2013 and this year it was hotter than ever - in every sense of the word! A busy programme of events were held right across Steve's Winchester & Chandler's Ford constituency and demand for them all surpassed all previous year's. 2013 also saw a supermarket surgery held for the first time - see all details below.

Steve says; "Previous Summer tours have been really well received by constituents and it's been a great way for me to get out and meet even more of the people I represent. This year's programme was certainly ambitious and spanned the real length of my constituency covering a range of different events.  Thank you to the record breaking number of people we met for taking the time to stop and chat this Summer."

Key dates for Summer 2013 included:

  • Wonston - Steve opened the village Church fete on 13 July; see more here
  • Chandler's Ford - With local Borough and Parish councillors Steve held a street surgery at the Fryern Arcade on Weds 31 July
