Steve Brine MP

for Winchester & Chandler's Ford

Twyford, Shawford, Compton and Otterbourne are all situated to the south and west of Winchester, within minutes of the M3 motorway.  Hursley is one of the most picturesque villages in Hampshire, situated on the B3090 from Winchester to Romsey.

These rural communities all have their own unique spirit, and boast a large number of community groups which are very popular with local residents.

Although in many ways idyllic, the villages are not without their issues, and Steve has worked hard with residents on a number of problems, including traffic in Twyford, car parking in Shawford (where the filming of Victor Meldrew's death took place!) and motorway and airport noise across Compton and Otterbourne.

These problems notwithstanding, the area is one of the most beautiful in Hampshire, and provides walkers and cyclists with some breathtaking views.
