Steve Brine and his family joined thousands of locals on Alresford's historic Broad Street for the return of the much loved Alresford Watercress Festival, which had been cancelled two years running due to covid.
On the third Sunday of May each year, the market town becomes the site of a huge street festival. Over 80 stalls showcase the very best local food and drink producers, and others sell arts, crafts, jewellery and clothing, items for the house, garden and much else besides.
This year was no different and even the wet weather couldn't deter the MP or local community from supporting the market town's long standing tradition.
Steve Brine MP said; “Oh boy, it was a wet one at the world famous Alresford Watercress Festival this morning! Mind you, so many people, including yours truly, came to support this much-loved event. See you next year!"
