Ambitious plans for Knowledge Park launched

Business leaders and the City Council have come together with the University of Winchester and Steve Brine MP to launch ambitious plans for a knowledge park on the outskirts of the city.

 

Parliamentary meeting discusses Vitamin D and Osteoporosis

Steve Brine attended the All-Party Parliamentary Osteoporosis Group (APPOG) meeting on Tuesday 1st November to discuss how to implement the recent government guidance that stated that people in the UK were not receiving adequate vitamin D, a vital component in keeping bones strong and healthy.

A joint green paper has been published as the Government seeks to close the gap between disabled and non-disabled people in work, with a new ambitious approach to work and health.
