General Election 2017 special edition of Steve Brine's Winchester & Chandler's Ford Post newspaper. It is delivered to 41,000 homes across the constituency by volunteers and is another part of Steve's 100% positive local campaign.

Sensory garden opened at very special school

A Winchester school held a grand opening (Sat 13 May) for a new sensory garden to help its students.

 

Shepherds Down Special School in Compton has created the space for pupils using £30,000 from a number of local firms.

Steve and his daughter, Emily, dodged the showers on May Day Bank Holiday Monday (1st May 2017) to support the annual Fryern Funtasia.

MP unveils new minibus for Alresford

It was a great day for Alresford on Saturday (29th April 2017) when Steve Brine cut the ribbon on its brand new minibus.

The MP also oversaw special awards given to three long service voluntary drivers who were retiring.

New discoveries on Hyde Abbey site

Two major surprise discoveries lit up the final hours of Hyde900's Bank Holiday Weekend Community Dig (supported by WARG, the society for Winchester archaeology and local history) to shed new light on the history of Hyde and to solve a mystery linked to St. Bartholomew's church.

Steve responds as PM calls June General Election

The Prime Minister has announced this morning that a General Election will be held on 8 June - and that she will shortly take the necessary steps in Parliament to ensure that this can happen.
