Steve Brine was one of a large number of MPs who attended the first meeting of the All-Party Group for Civic Societies on 1st November.
Created by Laura Sandys MP, the group will share the experiences and work of civic societies across the country and has over 40 members from across the party spectrum.
Steve said:"This is a great group to be involved in. Civic societies are very much at the heart of life in Britain, and I am delighted to be able to work towards making our towns, cities and villages even better places to live.
