Summer Tour 2017 resumed today (Friday 25 August 2017) in Chandler's Ford with a street surgery at the Fryern Arcade.
Steve was joined by Borough Councillors and other members of the team for the lunchtime event bathed in sunshine. It's the seventh year the MP has held this event, designed to give constituents a chance to discuss anything they wish.
The street surgery forms part of Steve's Summer Tour, a series of events held every July-September during Parliament's annual Summer and conference recess. This year has seen events in Highcliffe, Micheldever Station, Badger Farm and Teg Down.
Speaking from Fryern, Steve said; "This is always a busy event and this year was no different. People out and about, shopping or on their lunch break, love the chance to impromptu grab their MP and have a chat.
"Good also to have Cllr Judith Grakewski (of Eastleigh Borough and Hampshire County Council) there alongside, for a time, Cllr Mike Huges of EBC. Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat or take a flyer."
