Steve Brine joined a celebration of the West End transfer of James Graham's critically acclaimed political drama This House at a special reception in the Commons on Tuesday 18th October.
The play, directed by Jeremy Herrin of Wolf Hall fame, is set in 1974, and dives deep into the political chaos of the time, with the government of the day hanging by a thread and sick and dying MPs being physically carried through the lobbies to take part in crucial votes.
Steve said: "I was delighted to be able to drop by and boy, this show is highly recommended! It takes us back over 40 years to a very different United Kingdom, and has an excellent cast, including Phil Daniels and Kevin Doyle.
"A number of constituents have told me they have enjoyed the play, and I am sure many more will now have the opportunity."
