Michael Gove addresses local residents

Michael Gove visited Winchester on Friday 21st October to speak to a large group of Winchester & Chandler's Ford constituents at the Holiday Inn on Morn Hill.

The former Education Secretary and Lord Chancellor spoke on a range of topics, including Europe, education and justice matters, before taking questions from the floor.

Speaking afterwards, Steve Brine said: "This was a lovely evening, and I am so grateful to Michael for coming down. From chatting to guests afterwards, I know he was very well received, and it was particularly nice to see such a large contingent from the Winchester Student Conservative Society, which goes from strength to strength every year."
