Steve Brine has welcomed a consultation published by Hampshire County Council aimed at adults with autism.
HCC has published its Draft Strategy which includes how young people with autism, from the age of 14, will be offered support as they move into adulthood.
The Hampshire Autism Partnership Board (HAPB) wants people of all ages with autism to access the support services they need, and the term 'autism' is used to reflect the full spectrum and includes Aspergers Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Pervasive Development Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder and all Autism Spectrum Conditions
Steve, vice-chair of the All-Party Group for Autism in the House of Commons, said: "I am delighted that the consultation has been launched and would encourage anyone who has an interest in this subject to take part."
The consultation closes on 18th May.
