Winchester MP Steve Brine went back to the start last night as he joined the Cubs for the evening.
Steve, who was very active in the cubs and scouting movement as a boy, spent the evening with the 3rd Winchester (in Kings Worthy) where he spoke about his role and answered questions for over an hour.
The group also held a special Parliament quiz and the MP took the group on a virtual tour of the House of Commons and House of Lords.
Speaking afterwards Steve said; "I really loved this and it was nice to see some familiar faces. The whole scouting movement gave me so much so it's always great to so back. The 3rd Winchester seem to be thriving but I know they cannot wait to get back to meeting properly."
Simon Cable from the 3rd added; "Thank you for taking time out to support us, it was a great session and the Cubs were enthralled. I'd love to know how many Mum's and Dad's were quietly watching in the background!
"Great Questions from the Cubs, and great answers from you, I particularly enjoyed your story about the protesters in the public gallery."
