Steve Brine and his family joined over 10,000 people at the sixth Sparsholt countryside open day on Saturday 19th May.
The event was hosted by Sparsholt College, and as well as the senior management team, over 800 students took part in a wide range of family events, including sheep shearing, laser guided clay pigeon shoots, chainsaw cutting and sheepdog demonstrations.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "For one reason or another this was the first time we have attended this event and we will definitely go again. An absolutely brilliant family day out which our kids (and their parents) loved.
"Sparsholt College is such a gem and I am so proud to have it in my constituency. Of course the academic courses at the academic institutions are great and very much needed but a visit to Sparsholt always reminds me how vital their wide range of courses are to our country continuing to actually work."
