Steve Brine joined a host of dignitaries and guests at Peter Symonds on Friday 29th April as Prince Edward opened the new Hopkins Building.
Prior to the unveiling of the building, named after long-standing former Principal Neil Hopkins, there were demonstrations on the Inner Field to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Schemes. Students from Peter Symonds and other schools and colleges took part before Prince Edward did the honours at the ceremony.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "What a fantastic occasion, and I was honoured to be present. It was great to catch up with Neil this afternoon and be a part of this special ceremony."
