Steve Brine joined a large number of Parliamentary colleagues in welcoming 3 Commando Brigade back to Britain as they marched into Westminster Hall on Monday 31st October.
3 Commando Brigade paraded through the streets of central London following their return from operations in Afghanistan and 120 members of the Brigade marched from Wellington Barracks to Westminster before meeting MPs in the Houses of Parliament.
Hosted by the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Armed Forces, troops met with MPs and were taken on tours of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords before making their way to the Cholmondley Room for a tea reception.
Steve said: "This is a really nice tradition in Parliament and I know MPs and Peers love to do it. We send these men and women to war so it's only right we welcome them home.
"I was humbled to chat to many of them at the reception which followed their marching into Parliament and to hear their stories."
