Steve's Summer Tour reached its penultimate event today with a special surgery for the residents of Sutton Scotney - held in the village fire station!
Hampshire Fire & Rescue kindly hosted the surgery as part of the MP's 2012 Summer Tour and it was packed with residents wanting to raise issues with Steve Brine for the full two hours.
One of those dropping by was Iain Henderson, chair of Wonston Parish Council, who came in to chat through a range of local parish issues with Steve.
Steve said; "Summer Tour is all about the MP coming to you and we had several people visit the surgery today who simply could not travel into Winchester for my weekly surgery. Sutton Scotney is such a lovely village and I really enjoyed meeting so many residents and listening to their issues."
Popular local city councillor Stephen Godfrey also joined the surgery which covered national issues and local matters, including the proposed EDF Energy Wind Farm at Bullington Cross.
After the formal surgery, Steve met with Steve Trevethick Group Manager at Hampshire Fire & Rescue covering Winchester.
