Winchester MP Steve Brine spent some time in Parliament with a team from the Adjutant General?s Corps (AGC) on Wednesday 9th February.
The AGC is based in Worthy Down, and comprises four branches, Staff and Personnel Support Branch, Provost Branch, Educational and Training Services Branch and Army Legal Services Branch.
The Corps March is the Pride of Lions, and a silver centre-piece has recently been commissioned (pictured front).
Speaking after the visit, Major Elms said: "Your invitation shows how MPs can engage with theor constituents. It was a really interesting and informative day that revealed the inner workings of our democracy. My team was impressed in the active way that parliament engages with the people."
Steve added: "It was a real pleasure to be able to invite Major Elms' team from AGC here today. It is fantastic to be able to show people around the House, and I am delighted they took so much from the experience."
