Steve Brine took his children to Micheldever on Saturday 15th July as he opened the Micheldever Church Summer Fete, with Emily, William and a whole host of local children!
In aid of St Mary's, the afternoon took place at the Lord Rank playing field, and had a range of attractions, including a 1916 Ford Model T Tourer (the first mass-produced car), sack races, three legged races and a dog show.
In addition, there was face painting, a plant stall, and a bouncy castle amongst much more, as well as a fully refurbished Flying Fox.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "Always a pleasure to attend the Micheldever Fete but it's extra special when I get to open the event.
"Well done to Juliet Pattison and all the team for putting on another successful fete which I know is not easy and no small feat."
