Steve Brine dropped into St Paul's pre-school on Friday 11th March to spend an hour chatting to staff and parents.
The Winchester MP had been asked to go along following his letter to the pre-school congratulating them for their recent Outstanding Ofsted report, and when Steve arrived on Friday morning the pre-school was a hive of activity.
As well as chatting to Silvia and her team, Steve was able to help out with a rhyming words 'bingo' activity, and even take part in some painting.
Steve said: "I had a fantastic time here this morning, and saw so much going on both indoors and outdoors at this lovely venue.
"I know the St Paul's hall is also used for other activities such as pilates, but to see how they transform the room, each and every day, into such a buzzing setting for the kids was superb.
"I was also able to take the time to discuss our changes to childcare funding as well as just see for myself how key parents are to making the pre-school actually happen.
"Silvia clearly leads from the front and has a very strong team behind her, as the Ofsted result showed, and I wish them all the best for the rest of the year."
