Steve Brine's 2016 Summer Tour ended with a successful supermarket surgery today at Sainsbury's Badger Farm near Winchester.
Cllr Jan Warwick joined Steve for the two hour session which included a drop-in surgery in the main foyer of the store. The pair were busy with shoppers stopping to chat, ask questions or with specific casework issues to raise.
Staff at the south Winchester store made a huge effort for the event, making regular tannoy announcements to alert customers to the surgery taking place.
Steve said afterwards; "I have loved every moment of this year's Summer Tour and this was a lovely way to round it off. Huge thanks to the in-store team for making us so welcome and to the many shoppers who stopped to chat. We didn't stop for a moment during the two hours with many national and local issues being raised. We very much hope to repeat this exercise in the future."
