Local MP Steve Brine is offering his constituents the chance to watch the Budget live in the House of Commons as it unfolds on Wednesday 21st March, directly after Prime Minister's Questions.
In line with all MPs, Steve receives a pair of tickets to PMQs three times a year, and this March his slot coincides with the Chancellor's statement directly following David Cameron.
Steve said: "I am delighted that my allocation this time also includes the Budget speech and my guests will be able to stay and watch George Osborne's announcement once the PM has finished his weekly sparring with the leader of the opposition.
"As demand is always high, I run a ballot to ensure the winners are drawn completely at random, and I have already met a number of local people in the House after they have enjoyed this very memorable experience.
"This really is a fantastic opportunity to see a crucial Budget delivered in the flesh, so to speak, and I would like as many people as possible across Winchester & Chandler's Ford to have this opportunity. I would ask anyone who is interested to get in touch with me via my website or my constituency office by Wednesday 29th February at the very latest, and I wish all who enter the very best of luck."
