Steve Brine spent a morning at Hiltingbury Junior School on Friday 25th November, where he was given a tour by staff and children.
Joining headteacher Dr Trevor Walker and Matthew Golby-Kirk, Chair of Governors, the Chandler's Ford MP met three youngsters who showed him classrooms and faclilties, before taking in the special speech and language therapy unit.
Steve, who takes an active interest in speech therapy in the House of Commons, said: "Being married to a speech therapist, I was particularly struck by this fantastic resource, which I know the school shares with the Infants. Susie will be very interested to hear more this evening, and on a wider point I would like to thank everyone who hosted me this morning for such a positive and welcoming visit."
