Steve Brine leads team to success in Hampshire challenge.
A team of golfers from Winchester won the Hampshire Challenge Trophy in a nail-biting finish at the annual golf challenge near Andover.
The team, led by Parliamentary Candidate Steve Brine, took the spoils at the day held over The Hampshire Golf Club. They came home with a combined stableford score of 114 points to beat a team from Romsey, who came second.
The event is organised by North West Hampshire Conservatives, where Sir George Young is the long-standing Member of Parliament.
Winchester won the event back in 2003 and after a few years absence, returned to winning ways.
Steve says; "It was a great team effort, everyone contributed and we had a lot of fun at the same time. We will be back next year to defend our title".
Team Winchester contained; Steve Brine, Jonathan Munro-Ford, Rob Ducker and Andrew Beadle.
