Sunflower Ball for Winchester Hospice

A major fundraiser was held this evening in aid of the new Winchester Hospice.

The Sunflower Ball saw several hundred guests, including Winchester MP Steve Brine and his wife Susie, gather in Stoke Charity for a special dinner followed by an auction.

New cycle route to link Chandler’s Ford to Southampton

Steve Brine and Cllr Judith Grajewski have welcomed a new cycle and walking route which links Chandler’s Ford to Southampton.

The £1.14 million scheme will see a three metre wide, 2km-long off-road shared use cycle/footway along Hut Hill, linking Chandler’s Ford to Chilworth.

A great day as zero emissions target set

Steve Brine took part in a historic debate in the Commons on Wednesday 12th June as the government announced it was introducing new legislation today to reduce the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.

There was a D-Day theme to MP Steve Brine's visit to Winchester College today.

The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP dropped in to meet with Headmaster, Dr Tim Hands, and chat with some of the 6th form boys who will shortly leave the College.

Steve Brine met up with members of the local business community at the University of Winchester on Thursday 6th June, as he took part in the Winchester Business Excellence Awards.

Sun shines on East Stratton for annual fete

June got underway in traditional style for the village of East Stratton today as the annual village fete and dog show was held on the village green.

Steve Brine and his young family went along for the 12 year in a row and this year opened the fete at 1pm.
