Steve Brine attended a Rotary dinner at the Royal Hotel in Winchester on the evening of Monday 22nd August.
Over 70 guests participated in the occasion, which is strictly non-political, and following dinner and some Rotary business, they settled back to hear the Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP discuss his career before becoming an MP, along with reflections on his first year in the House of Commons.
Steve also spoke about the work he does in a number of All-Party health groups, as well as the various work he does around the constituency.
Speaking afterwards, he said: "I was very honoured to be asked here this evening to address Rotary Club members, and I really had an excellent time. I was delighted to take questions after I set out both my past and present careers, and as you would expect they were all very intelligent and to the point."
The Rotary motto is 'Service above self', and Winchester has a thriving local organisation.
Steve added: "I extend my thanks once again for being invited, and I hope that everyone who went took as much out of tonight as I did."
