Steve met Big Cat Electric in the Commons on Tuesday 10th May as the Hampshire-based company showcased their range of electric bikes.
Big Cat Electric use advanced technology to power bikes quickly and safely, with very low battery consumption. The bikes, which are claimed to have the longest practical range and lowest maintenance costs of any electric bike under £2000, can run for over 40 miles.
Speaking after their meeting, Steve said: "It is always good to see entrepreneurs pushing the boundaries and even better when it is a local business. As Vice Chair of the All-Party Cycling Group here in Parliament and a keen cyclist myself it was really interesting to check out the Big Cat bikes."
