Steve took his family down to Winchester city centre on Thursday 19th November for the opening of the iconic Winchester Cathedral ice rink and Christmas Market.
The local MP joined hundreds of families at the event, which saw choir boys from Pilgrims School performing as well as firedancers on the ice.
This year, the Winchester Christmas Market is celebrating its tenth birthday, and is firmly established as one of the best Christmas markets in Europe.
Inspired by traditional German Christmas markets, it will be open every day between November 19th and December 22nd, will all of the exhibitors are hand-picked for their interesting, high-quality and unique products, many of which will not be found on the high street.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "We had a lovely time, and the performances were superb. We have something ever so special here in Winchester and I am delighted to say that our Christmas City is well and truly back!"
