Steve Brine dropped into the Winchester Live at Home Scheme on Jewry Street on Friday 15th March to find out more about the group, which offers support and friendship to older people across the Winchester area.
The MP met with members and staff at their Annual General Meeting, and found out about a whole host of activities that take place, including walking groups, knitting, singing and Exercise Plus.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "It is not always possible, but I was delighted to drop into the AGM this afternoon. From talking to staff and members, it was clearly apparent that everyone is so grateful for what they do, and for many it is a real lifeline."
