It was a first for Badger Farm Sainsbury's as local MP Steve Brine held a special supermarket surgery in store on Wednesday 31st July.
The MP was on hand at a designated table placed near the entrance to the busy shop, and spoke with a large number of shoppers as they entered or exited the store.
Steve said: "This was the first time I have held a surgery event inside a supermarket, and I have to say it was a real success. I spoke to so many people, and as well as picking up some important casework, I was able to discuss a number of wider issues including Barton Farm, the economy and our relationship with the European Union.
"I also thank the team at Sainsbury's, including Rich, Harriet and Daniel, for making us so welcome and supporting the event from the word go."
