Tuesday 14th April saw another packed day for Steve Brine and the team, as the campaign arrived once again in Chandler's Ford, and finished up in the Hyde Tavern in the heart of Winchester.
Steve held a busy lunchtime street surgery at the Fryern Arcade in Chandler's Ford, meeting people from across the area, and then spent the afternoon with his local team knocking on doors across the patch.
They then travelled into Winchester to meet up with the St Barts campaigners in Hyde, where there are two elections this year, as local barrister Rose Burns is standing in the ward for Winchester City Council.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "It was a bit of a scorcher this afternoon but once again, we met so many people who are engaging with my positive campaign.
"It was great to go into Hyde in the evening to meet people, many just coming home from work, as news of our manifesto was hitting the airwaves, and there was a very positive reaction to our plans on childcare in particular.
"It was lovely to catch up with Rose Burns too, who had a drink with us in the Hyde Tavern, who is very well known in the area, and proving a formidable candidate to the established old order in that part of Winchester."
