Harestock shops provided the venue for Steve Brine's latest street surgery of the campaign, on Friday 1st May.
Local councillor James Byrnes and Prospective City councillor for the area, Paul Twelftree, joined Steve for the morning session.
Steve says; "We were right outside the bakery which was just killing me with the waft of bacon sandwiches so we all felt it only right we help their business. It was cold on Friday morning so that was just ticket alongside a hot mug of tea.
"Harestock is a real buzz on a Friday morning now the fruit and veg market stall is there and it was good to see how much locals value it being there. Many of the older residents, and those who do not drive, find it a really useful alternative to getting the bus into town or trying to park over at Weeke.
"We had a really good response from residents, including hoots from those passing by, and it was great to support Paul who is running a really strong campaign to bring some decent local representation at long last to the ward alongside James Byrnes."
After a warm up refreshment at the Running Horse in Littleton, Steve and the team spent a few hours in Littleton before travelling down the lane to join Cllr Caroline Horrill in the beautiful village of Crawley.
