Steve Brine joined the new Eastleigh MP, Mims Davies, and a range of councillors in Eastleigh on Thursday 14th May, for the borough's annual Mayor Making.
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP, who represents the Chandler's Ford and Hiltingbury wards within Eastleigh Borough Council, was also delighted to see that the hugely respected Cllr Godfrey Olson was given a special award for a whopping sixty years as a Borough Councillor!
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "It was such a shame the outgoing Mayor, Tony Noyce, could not be there due to ill-health but it was a real celebration of his Mayoral year which has been completed with style.
"Lovely to connect with some of the new Conservative councillors in the Borough and of course to be there with Mims the new Eastleigh MP elected last week."
