Steve Brine visited St Paul's Church in Fulflood on Saturday 9th May as the Parish of St Matthew with St Paul held a special Community day.
The day included attractions such as the mobile planetarium, a bouncy castle, a jazz band, and a host of stalls and activities for children, with entertainment provided by Western Primary School, St Paul's Pre-School and Florian School of Dance.
Steve Brine took his son William, echoing his first engagement as the Winchester MP five years ago, where he attended with his family just months before William was born. He said: "As well as bringing back fond memories of my first election back in 2010, I know that today has been very useful in going some way towards raising the £100,000 needed to carry out vital work on St Matthew's Church further up Stockbridge Road.
"I spoke to so many people who were keen to discuss the national result, as well, of course, as my work locally for the community."
