The Member of Parliament for Winchester and Chandler's Ford spent the morning with local campaigners as he held a street surgery at the Kingsgate with former Winchester City Councillor, Fiona Mather.
The team chatted to residents on a number of issues, both local and national, as the city prepares itself for the next round of City Council elections later this year.
After a morning of meeting residents of St Cross, the MP headed round the corner to the cathedral for a special service for the people of Ukraine
Steve said; “It was so good to spend time chatting with constituents at the Kingsgate. Ukraine was obviously the main topic of conversation and I was pleased to talk through some of the non-lethal and humanitarian work Britain is doing to help this desperate situation.”
