Steve Brine met up with some local campaigners at his regular surgery on Friday 26th April, to discuss the Government's progress on the If campaign.
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP met with Anna Jacklin and William Law, and covered a number of aspects of the campaign, which seeks to tackle global hunger, international tax avoidance and land grabs.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "I have been a vocal supporter of the If campaign, and actually backed an event held at Winchester Cathedral to kick off the campaign earlier this year.
"I have been overwhelmed with the support for the campaign, and have been corresponding with so many constituents over the past few months.
"It was great to chat to the guys in surgery today, they were very impressive and I was pleased that we were also able to discuss a forthcoming inquiry into prostitution and human trafficking which I will be involved with up in Parliament soon."
