Steve Brine dropped into Colebrook Street on Friday 5th June, as he visited Friends of the Family at a special celebration.
The party marked the special Under 5s project the charity has launched, and took place in the evening sunshine at Colebrook House.
The Friends of the Family Under 5s Project provides a safe haven for mums with pre-school-aged children when home-life is challenging and they need support. Mums meet as a group to talk together about issues they are facing. They set their own agenda, although the session is run by a psychotherapist, who provides professional input to guide discussion. Where appropriate, they are also able to offer individual counselling sessions.
Steve Brine said: "This is a fantastic charity, providing fantastic support to young families right across the city. I was delighted to be able to drop in on a packed evening and help them mark their excellent Under 5s project."
