Steve Brine joined Cllr Judith Grajewski in Chandler's Ford on Saturday 25th February as a new £270,000 Girlguiding centre was declared open.
The centre, which provides for Guides, Brownies and Rainbows has modern facilities, including a main hall, toilets, separate meeting rooms, a kitchen and direct access to a garden. The Girlguiding Shop will also be relocating onto the site from its existing premises on Hursley Road.
Steve Brine said: "This is an impressive new facility and great credit to the divisional team for working so hard - alongside the community - to make it a reality.
"The guides, brownies and rainbows now have a first class facility that will serve generations of girls. I look forward to helping them where I can to complete the outside works which will make this an even better local resource."
