Steve Brine spent Wednesday 6th May in Alresford as he held the final event of the 2015 General Election campaign in the Georgian market town.
Ernie Jeffs and Lisa Griffiths joined the team as they held a busy street surgery on the corner of Broad Street and West Street, before the heavens opened and they carried on in The Bell.
Steve said: "This General Election is, of course, nearly upon us with the polls set to open at 7am tomorrow morning, and after nine years of continual campaigning, including the last as our MP, it was great to come back to my spot here in Alresford where I have spent so many mornings chatting to local people.
"As I have said a few times in recent weeks, this is the most important and unpredictable election in years and every vote here matters a great deal. So many local people put their trust in me last time and I hope I've repaid that by doing exactly what I promised; to be first and foremost a good constituency MP.
"It is certainly well-known that I live locally with my young family and have worked really hard to establish myself as a reliable and experienced Member of Parliament able to get things done. The feedback this morning was fantastic, with so many people set to 'Make It Steve Again!' and I am incredibly grateful for the support."
