Steve Brine met up with 15 members of the University of the Third Age (U3A) as they visited the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 14th October.
The MP had arranged the trip for the group, who as well as meeting with Steve and taking part in a short Q&A, as well as climbing the Elizabeth Tower to see Big Ben.
Kate Davies, from U3A, said: "I think we all felt enormously privileged to have been able to climb the Elizabeth Tower and stand within a foot of Big Ben as he struck the hour. A memorable experience and we are grateful to Steve Brine for organising it for us."
Steve Brine said: "I was absolutely thrilled to be able to welcome U3A to the House, and it was great to hear they had such a good time. One of the highlights of my job is being able to arrange visits for local organisations, as well as school trips, and being able to meet up with my constituents in the old place itself!"
