Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP Steve Brine has invited constituents who would like the chance to visit Parliament and watch Prime Minister's Question Time this year to contact him.
In line with all MPs, Steve receives just three confirmed pairs of tickets each calendar year, and so as to ensure absolute fairness, he holds a ballot a few weeks before each date which is drawn from all received entries. He has now been given the three dates for 2013, which are Wednesday 17th April, Wednesday 17th July and Wednesday 11th December.
Importantly, Steve is only able to enter his Winchester & Chandler's Ford constituents in the ballots, which will be held in good time to notify winners so they can make the necessary arrangements.
Steve said: "Members of Parliament receive a very limited allocation each year to watch PMQs and I am keen to see mine are used by local people who want to come and watch Parliament in action in a way that is fair and transparent. Parliament is always buzzing on a Wednesday so I can promise a really interesting and exciting trip to Westminster for the lucky winners."
