Steve Brine MP swung into action on Wednesday 27 April to help launch National Golf Month.
The initiative, which runs throughout May, aims to inspire 100,000 new players to #getgolfing, with a particular focus on getting more women and young people taking up the sport.
Steve Brine said: "Golf is often seen as a men-only activity so I am delighted that National Golf Month is trying to change that.
"Golf is good exercise, very social and can cost a lot less than people think. I would urge my constituents to try golf via the National Golf Month website; there are offers on there from lots of Hampshire businesses so not only is it a fun and low cost way to try the sport, it is a great way to get out and see our lovely county!"
