Local MP Steve Brine kicked off his third annual Summer Tour with a packed session outside Tesco in Kings Worthy on Monday 22nd July.
The Winchester & Kings Worthy MP was inundated by local residents, who queued to discuss a wide range of matters, from national issues such as ISP-blocking, through to local issues, such as the Cart & Horses junction with the A33 and development in the Hookpit area.
Speaking afterwards, on his way to the city's Freedom Parade, Steve said: "What a way to kick off my Summer Tour- there was a queue before we'd even arrived!
"This is one of my absolute favourite parts of the job, and I was delighted to meet so many local people on a beautiful but scorching morning in Kings Worthy.
"I have an awful lot of feedback, and it was lovely to see so many people wanting to discuss A33 junction campaign.
"The best thing about events such as this is that I never know who is going to come along, and I am so pleased I was able to start this Summer Tour so positively. All my thanks go to helpful and friendly staff at Tesco, who were even kind enough to bring out some water for a very hot Popcorn!"
