Steve Brine met up with two local apprentices in Parliament on Wednesday 20th May, as they took up a national apprenticeship challenge.
The Winchester MP joined James and Georgina, who represented Winchester City Council's team on the Brathay Apprentice Challenge, the official search for the national apprentice team of the year.
The event was supported by the National Apprenticeship Service, and saw teams of nine apprentices compete in a series of work-related challenges to develop new skills, benefit their local communities and raise the profile of their employers and apprenticeships.
Steve Brine said: "It was great to meet Georgina and James today on the Terrace, and fantastic that our city council, which has really gripped the government focus on training apprenticeships, taking part today."
The final stages of the Challenge will culminate in a logistical and teambuilding finalé at the Brathay Trust's Windermere headquarters from 6th to 8th July 2015.
