Steve recently joined local campaigners in the Hyde area of Winchester as Conservatives roll up their sleeves.
Conservatives in Winchester are fed up with politicians who just talk about doing things, so they have been rolling up their sleeves and getting on with making are great city even better.
Conservative Parliamentary Candidate, Steve Brine, recently joined Abdul Kayum in the Hyde area of St Barts to pick up litter. Abdul, who is standing in the area for the City Council elections on May 3rd and lives in Hyde himself, has led efforts to clean up local streets.
Steve says; "We could sit around writing leaflets, staging photo opportunities and talking about making our communities better or we could just get on with it and MAKE them better. Abdul has been contacted a number of concerned residents in the area, who are understandably worried about the litter problem in and around the River Park Leisure Centre area, so we decided to roll up our sleeves and pick it up ourselves.
It may not be Wimbledon Common but we love doing it and you would be amazed at some of things we find!"
