Steve Brine dropped into Headbourne Worthy on Monday 13th April as he met up with a local history group to attend the unveiling of a special village board.
The Worthys Local History Group board is situated on Taylor's Corner at Bedfield Lane, and explains much of the history behind some of the properties in the village.
Steve said: "The turnout in Headbourne Worthy for the unveiling of these fantastic boards was great, and I really enjoyed chatting to the residents, who I have just helped with the situation at Down Farm Lane railway bridge.
"This board, and the others to follow, are really interesting as it's always nice to know the history of an area even if you've lived here for years and think you know a fair bit."
After the event, Steve met up with a team in Stanmore, where they spent the afternoon knocking on doors and chatting to residents.
He added; "Stanmore was good fun and is always one of my favourite canvass places. We spoke with dozens of people across the estate as afternoon turned into evening. It was good to catch up with some old friends and people I have done casework for as well."
