Local MP Steve Brine has released details of his second Summer Tour, following the success of his inaugural Tour in 2011.
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP visited a number of locations across the constituency last year, including Stanmore, Winnall, Hyde and Abbotts Barton, and met a large number of constituents at surgeries or simply by knocking on doors.
This year, Steve is taking in a range of communities over the summer recess, with a mix of booked surgeries, informal street surgeries and more door-knocking in places such as Oliver's Battery, Weeke, Highcliffe and Chandler's Ford.
Steve said: "Some people believe MPs put their feet up each summer, and some MPs may even do that, but I am determined to get out there and meet as many people as possible while Parliament is in recess and I find the Summer Tour is really well received wherever we go.
"If this summer is anywhere near as successful as last year (weather notwithstanding!) then I will be really happy, and I would encourage all my constituents to visit my website to find out more about where I will be this year.
"Of course, nothing has changed with regard to local people getting in contact with me in the usual way, and I will still be handling casework and correspondence as it arrives, but I am really looking forward to cranking up the Summer Tour again during late July and August."
