Steve Brine dropped into the Garrison Ground on Saturday 13th October to visit the city's principal football club for women and girls.
Winchester City Flyers, which was established in 1996, run a number of teams, from under 8s up to a full adults XI, and the local MP was invited along to find out more.
Steve said: "It was great to pop down and meet club members while the under 10s, 11s and 13s were all in action. I am so proud to have such a vibrant girls football club in my constituency, and was very interested to hear first hand their hopes and plans for the future.
"I know the club is seeking to realise their dream of a permanent home so they can take the club to the next level and will do all I can across the city to help them achieve this."
