Steve took his family, and Popcorn, to the Littleton & Harestock Show on Saturday 3rd September as hundreds of people attended the popular event at Littleton Rec.
There was a huge amount of entertainment on offer, including an Army Marching Band, the Racing Ferrets, the Funfair, and the Model Boat Club alongside a number of regular favourites. The Flower Show competition was, as ever, at the heart of the event, and the Craft Show was packed with talented people displaying and selling their works.
Steve met up with a number of local people, including well known villager Patrick Cunningham, who was there as the new chairman of Littleton & Harestock Parish Council.
Steve said: "I know there are concerns from the organisers for the future of the show because they are struggling for volunteers to make it happen but they did it in style as usual this year.
"Young William enjoyed the remote controlled boats so much and has somehow got me to commit to build him one. Very good job then I made friends with the incredibly nice people from the Eastleigh Model Club who were running this part of the show.
"The Littleton & Harestock Show is one of the best around and I hope they know how much fun we all had. Long may it continue!"
